Therapy through play
Through play, therapists can help children learn more adaptive behaviors in situations in which the child presents emotional or social deficits.
About
My passion is the therapy of children and the development of their potential by creating an environment in which they learn about their own abilities, build their self-esteem, and find the answer to the most important question in their lives: Who am I?

Nina Ambroziak
I would like to share with you my story and mission within my professional work. It is very important for me that you get to know more: me, my experience and the scope of my activities.
I am a psychologist, sensory integration therapist and Play & Creative Therapy therapist, supervisor and certified trainer - the only one in Poland, one of 3 in Europe and one of 50 in the world. As a pioneer of this method of working with children in Poland, I organise and conduct trainings for students, professionals and parents.
I have been involved in child therapy - including sensory integration therapy - for over 20 years. Helping the misunderstood and those struggling with multiple disorders has always been not only my job, but above all my passion. My approach to the subject of therapy changed a lot when I became a mother of two deaf children - then the problem of communicating and understanding these beings so close to me became crucial for me. I wanted to ensure that my children were fully supported and developed so that, despite their difference, they could lead a life like their peers.
So I started researching. I learnt about many therapeutic methods, principles of working with children, read scientific papers and browsed numerous sources, until I came across Play & Creative Art Therapy. This is a type of therapy that helps children to express their emotions through play. The therapist, who watches over the little one, gives him or her first and foremost acceptance and the freedom to be themselves, which is all that such a child needs most.
As a pioneer of this method in Poland, I am active in various fields. First of all, I am faithful to my passion for helping children with various disorders and their parents who want to understand their children. In my Warsaw office, children build relationships with themselves and the world, get to know their emotions and learn to use their potential to solve everyday problems. I know from experience that the highest values I can serve to my little patients are respect and acceptance - regardless of their disorders.
I believe that Play Therapy is a method that is still underestimated - both by the psychological community and by professionals in other fields, which is why I decided to share my knowledge and experience with students, psychologists, teachers, speech therapists and physiotherapists during training sessions. These trainings give participants the opportunity to conduct therapy with children with different disorders and at different levels of intellectual development.
If you need my support, knowledge or experience - feel free to contact me - I will try to help.
